MpAvillion
MPavilion 2014 was a temporary installation in the Queen Victoria Gardens, Melbourne, which hosts a variety of cultural and art events and activities that are open to the general public. 2014 was the first in a series of annual architectural commissions by the Naomi Milgrom Foundation.
MPavilion 2014 was entirely recyclable construction and consisted of a remote controlled operable façade by incorporating the use of actuators. The innovative design allowed MPavilion 2014 to operate under different configurations for a wide range of needs, setting expectations for future instalments.
