Swinburne University – Advanced technologies Centre

The Advanced Technologies Centre (ATC) represents Swinburne’s largest investment in their history, and was the first education building in Australia to be awarded a 5-star green rating. The ATC houses many research facilities and demonstrates a focus on technology, innovation, sustainability, and education.

The innovative design incorporates transparent walls to showcase the work of students, scientists and engineers to the public that pass by the façade. The ATC utilises glass and steel balustrades, enclosed walkways connecting buildings and other architectural metalwork to accomplish its above design objectives.
